Update
What is happening?
Forcepoint updated its Root Certificate Authority (CA) used for SSL decryption on August 1st 2025. As the final phase of the change, Forcepoint will be decommissioning the old root certificate from its certificate chain today, August 6, 2025, as the old root CA is about to expire.
Customer Required Actions:
Customers who have already downloaded and installed the new Root CA certificate file for their end users DO NOT NEED to perform any further actions, if they are not experiencing any connectivity issues with the new certificate. If they are experiencing any connectivity challenges, you are advised to contact our Technical Support team via the Customer Hub for assistance.
Customers who have worked with our Technical Support Team to apply a work-around pinning them to the old root certificate bundle MUST download and install the new Root CA certificate file IMMEDIATELY and apply it for their end users no later than August 5 2025. As the old Root CA certificate expires on August 6, the work-around will no longer be applicable and will impact customers ability to connect to the internet via Forcepoint web proxy.
Customers needing additional confirmation, validation or help can reach directly to our Technical Support team via the Customer Hub.
